Daisies and Daffodils

Daisy and Daffodil are lovers who met while fleeing the ravages of war. Together, they help the refugees overcome their hardships. They tackle hunger caused by a lack of food and clothing, as well as illness caused by a shortage of medical care and medicine. At the same time, they organize the refugees to resist harassment from local thugs, hooligans, scattered defeated soldiers, and wandering troops, as well as fraud and threats of abduction by bandits and tyrants. In the process, they gradually become the refugees’ leaders and form a highly effective fighting force. They also rally scattered remnants of defeated armies, and at last drive out the foreign invaders, reclaim their homeland, and rebuild their homes.
