In the 1980s, the Northeast was covered with ice and snow. The orphan Chen Mo was adopted by an old gangster and learned to survive in the blood and fire of the streets. He stood up for his brothers, fought for the territory with his life, and became a black and white "Brother Mo" from the mud of the video hall. His empire expanded rapidly in the craze of the 1990s, with money and power at his fingertips, but it also made him drift away from his former brother and policeman Li Weiguo, who was also an enemy and a friend.
At the top, murderous intent is everywhere. The iron fist of the country and the betrayal of his brothers came at the same time, shattering everything he had worked so hard for in an instant. In a desperate situation, he chose to carry everything alone, in exchange for twelve years of life behind bars.
After the millennium, the world has changed dramatically. After being released from prison, Chen Mo chose the most difficult way to return to the world - he opened a loading and unloading company to take in those who had no way out and earn a clean income under the sun. When the shadow of the past came to visit again and offered a tempting deal, he just calmly refused: "I, Chen Mo, only do business under the sun."
This is a journey back from the all-powerful to the silent. He once stood facing the north and stirred up the storm of an era; in the end he chose to take root and protect the most precious human fireworks.
