Proving the Immortal Path with a Dao Heart

Slow-paced, steady growth, female protagonist, male friends, no romance, no transmigration, no System, mortal cultivation.

A girl not yet ten years old is taken as a disciple by an elder of a sect because she possesses a Five Elements Spiritual Root. She thinks she is fortunate to have set foot on the path to immortality, but it turns out this person wants to refine her body and Five Elements Spiritual Root into pills, helping his own sect patriarch break through a cultivation bottleneck during secluded cultivation. Hmph, how could I become food for someone else’s advancement? So what if my cultivation is low and my aptitude poor? So what if I have a pseudo Five Elements Spiritual Root? My path to immortality lies right beneath my feet. As long as my Dao heart remains firm, I’ll forge a path of my own!
