The Grave Robbers' Chronicles: A Breakup Turns into a Love Triangle from Hell

Song Lan thought Zhang Qiling was the partner she would spend her life with. She never expected that meeting him would mark the beginning of her descent into darkness. The mechanical voice of the “Tomb Raider World Order System” shattered her illusions: to undo Zhang Qiling's obsession, she first had to build intimate relationships with him, Wu Xie, Xie Yuchen, and Hei Xiazi, then sever those ties with her own hands. Otherwise, she would be trapped in this perilous world forever.

She shielded Zhang Qiling from corpse beetles in an ancient Warring States tomb, worked seamlessly with Xie Yuchen to solve traps in a watery tomb, always had the perfect retort for Hei Xiazi's teasing, and couldn't bring herself to refuse Wu Xie's invitation to study an ancient silk manuscript. But the more their affection grew, the more flustered she became. When Zhang Qiling placed a warm pebble in her palm, when the plain porcelain vase Xie Yuchen had commissioned bore the character “Lan,” when Wu Xie hugged an ancient book and said, “Wait for me, and we'll decipher it together,” and when Hei Xiazi stood in front of her with a flamethrower to protect her, she'd already forgotten the mission. All she remembered was how they always shielded her during their tomb-raiding adventures.

Now that all four had laid their true feelings before her, breaking up with them had become the hardest tomb-raiding mission of all. How could she tell these people, who risked their lives to protect her, that she had only gotten close to them because of a lie that was always meant to end?
