The Ninefold Firmament

The world "Nine Heavens" is the dreamland after the death of the creator god "Lord of Creation". The so-called destruction of eras and reincarnation is actually the "restart" when dreams are on the verge of being broken. The ascension that monks pursue is nothing more than jumping into a more stable "new dreamland." The "observer" is the incarnation of the rules that maintains the stability of the dream and eliminates "variables"

The protagonist, Lin Chen, was the senior brother of Tianxuan Holy Land in his previous life. He was betrayed by his master and junior sister during the Ascension Tribulation, and he died with hatred. He was reborn at the age of sixteen with the memories of his previous life and the experience of overcoming the tribulation period, vowing to reverse his destiny. However, as he rose rapidly, he gradually discovered that he was carrying the "reverse spirit body" regarded as the "dream poison", and was involved in a shocking chess game that spanned eternity. The truth about the betrayal in the past life, the fate of the confidante, and the purpose of the old enemy Nether God Lord are all closely related to the "secret of reincarnation" and the "truth of dreams". Lin Chen must grow from a chess piece to a chess player, unite all forces, and under the gaze of the "observer", in the crisis of world destruction, find a "third way" that can not only save all living beings, but also achieve true transcendence.
