Great Ming: I Climbed into a Coffin from the Start, and Zhu Yuanzhang Begged Me to Claim the Throne

In the Ancestral Instructions of the Great Ming, only my name doesn't follow the rules.

That would be me: Zhu Xiongying!

I am the most exalted imperial eldest grandson of the Zhu family of the Great Ming.

…

In the fifteenth year of Hongwu, Zhu Qian transmigrated to the Ming dynasty and became a child.

Ten years later, after years of hardship and wandering, he finally arrived in the capital of the Great Ming.

But according to history, the Jingnan Campaign would break out in just a few years.

Zhu Qian wanted to rise above everyone else in the Great Ming, so he set to work!

One day, Zhu Qian said to the godfather who had always treated him well:

“Uncle Ma, in a few years the heir to the Great Ming throne is bound to change. When the Jingnan Campaign comes, we should support Prince Yan. That way, we’ll suffer fewer losses!”

As Zhu Qian built up his business, spoke enthusiastically with Zhu Yuanzhang about the fate of the empire, and prepared to hitch himself to Zhu Di’s wagon,

his grandfather suddenly appeared before him. “The truth is out: your grandpa is actually Zhu Yuanzhang.”

On a warm spring day, Zhu Qian walked into the majestic imperial palace…

His rise to the throne had begun!

“Child, let the sun and moon shine upon lands where all the people are subjects of the Great Ming. Wherever our horses tread, let it all be Han territory. Look down upon the world, summon every nation to pay homage, and become master of the seas!”

That was what Zhu Yuanzhang said.
