Spy War: I Seem to Have Infiltrated the Enemy as an Imperial Prince

Chen Mo, a modern special forces soldier and history-and-espionage enthusiast, unexpectedly becomes reborn in the body of a young Peking University student who shares his name, in Beiping shortly after its fall in 1937. He is bound to the “Civilization Guardian System” and gains a portable storage space.

To save the country from disaster, he uses the “Perfect Identity Disguise” opportunity awarded by a System mission to assume the identity of a Japanese royal collateral prince who was about to visit China but had “disappeared” in an accident: Prince Yasuhiko Asaka, a cousin of Emperor Showa. With this supreme cover, Chen Mo ventures into the lion’s den, maneuvering among the Japanese Army Ministry, the Tokko, the Plum Agency, the Wang Jingwei regime, and the intelligence agencies of various nations.

Using modern knowledge, the System’s abilities, and tactical insight far ahead of his time, he establishes a double intelligence network, secretly supports the resistance against Japan, and plans audacious operations. Dancing on the edge of a blade, he uses the body of a “prince” to protect his people, becoming the deadliest weapon in the shadows and writing a thrilling legend of espionage.
