Blue Star history buff Zhu Chi is reading the History of Ming in the library when a flash of blinding light hurls him into the seventh year of Hongwu!

When he opens his eyes, he has become Zhu Di’s chubby son, Zhu Gaochi?

In an infant’s body, he cries and pretends to be clueless, yet by the age of eight, Zhu Di has dragged him off to suppress bandits.

While everyone else stays at the foot of the mountain as a mascot, he comes up with a three-stage firing method,

holds his own against fleeing bandits, and even catches a Northern Yuan prince!

On the road to Nanjing, they encounter Japanese pirates.

The garrison troops flee at the first sign of trouble,

but he leads a thousand-man squad and grinds the pirates into the dirt!

He even dares to beat up Zhu Yunwen,

seizes thirty million taels from salt merchants,

and invents refined salt and soap, making Zhu Yuanzhang proclaim, “My grandson is the Ming’s God of Wealth!”

He was supposed to lie flat and stay alive,

so how did he become an overachiever of the early Ming, relied on by Zhu Di and doted on by Zhu Yuanzhang?
