In the near future where memories can be accurately deleted, architect Lin Mo chose to erase all memories related to his wife's safety in order to get rid of the pain of losing his wife. The operation seemed successful and he regained his life, but he was troubled by nameless emptiness and "ghost senses" - he would smell the fragrance of non-existent gardenias, and a vague smiling face would flash in his mind. When he stumbles upon an old bookmark engraved with the unfamiliar word "", he begins to suspect that it's not just sadness that has been deleted. In order to retrieve the lost truth, Lin Mo embarked on a dangerous journey against the memory technology giant "Morpheus' Dream", trying to salvage the isolated island called "Love" in a vast ocean called "Forgetting".
