When a Socially Anxious Editor Is Forced Onto a Dating Show

Under the Eaves of Heartbeats is a dating reality show that is “unscripted (in name only).” Filmed at a villa on the outskirts of the city, the guests eat, live, and complete challenges together while cameras roll 24 hours a day. But everyone quickly figures out where the cameras can’t see: sneaking snacks in the kitchen and complaining about the director on the balcony. Su Xiaotang’s role shifts from “writing the script” to “sabotaging the show and saving the day,” and the romance keeps veering off course amid all the antics.
