I Lured an Infinite-Flow Boss Away in a Horror Game

After Lu Chen wakes up from a car accident, he is dragged straight into a terrifying infinite-stream livestream game with a 99% death rate. As soon as he enters the first instance, "Midnight School," he runs into a boy clutching a pink bunny plushie.

He assumes the boy is an NPC who needs protecting, but then he discovers that the other NPCs go out of their way to avoid him, while the boy offers him candy. Even the instance boss is reduced to a helpless mess when the boy toys with it using his plushie!

The livestream audience goes wild: [Is this kid a BUG? Even the ghosts are totally fawning over him!]

Lu Chen is baffled too, until the boy tugs at his sleeve and says softly, "Big brother, this game is mine. I'd be sad if you died~"

Only then does Lu Chen realize that he has mistaken the ultimate boss of a horror game for a helpless little thing who needs his protection!

From then on, Lu Chen goes into hardcore clear-the-game mode. While everyone else runs from ghosts, he coasts to victory with the boss. While everyone else fights over items, the boss stuffs rare supplies into his hands. A guild tries to cause trouble? At one look from the boss, every ghost in the instance comes running to protect his man!

Lu Chen ruffles the boy's hair and says helplessly, "Don't make too much of a scene. The livestream is still on."

Lin Nian shoves the pink bunny into his arms, a crazed smile flashing in his eyes. "Anyone who dares say anything bad about you, I'll turn their soul into a plushie and play with it~"

The livestream chat: [I'm going crazy over this! The calm guy × the unhinged boss, I could watch these two for a hundred instances!]
