When Lin Mo, an ordinary player, transmigrates into the real and brutal Dark Zone of Kamona, he discovers that he has become a disposable member of a squad abandoned without mercy by the major powers. In this country, viewed as an arena by the two great powers of Kolun and Tewila, survival is the only rule.
But Lin Mo is not without an advantage. A mysterious "System" awakens within him. Combining it with his advanced knowledge of game tactics, he must lead three fellow rookies, each trapped in the same desperate situation, and struggle to survive amid the ruins. From scavenging scraps to establishing their first hidden supply point, from clashing with the local militia leader Ajax to uncovering the shocking secrets of the North Mountain ruins, they fight for every inch of ground, building their own stronghold in the cracks between the warring powers: "Eagle's Nest."
As time goes on, however, Lin Mo discovers that the System's power is no mere technological creation. It shares a source with the "Eden Project," which is stirring up the world, and points to an even more ancient and unknown presence. He must face not only encirclement by foreign forces and infighting among local factions, but also unravel the ultimate mystery behind his own power.
From a four-man squad to a fearsome special task force, from an isolated stronghold to the independent Federation of Dawn, and then to an army of the dead that shakes the world order... Lin Mo's path is destined to be extraordinary. Can he break free of the chains of great-power rivalry and lead the people of Kamona to true independence and freedom? And what lies behind the System and the ancient presence: the dawn of salvation, or an even deeper despair?
This is a hard-edged epic about establishing order in the depths of desperation, transforming from a pawn into a player, and ultimately rebuilding the backbone of an entire nation.
It's great. It feels pretty good. There are some flaws in the details. However, I remember that Twila supports the Northern Army, and doesn't the insurance of the villa require a key? Is it self-designed? (≧ω≦)
The author is simply superhuman!
A very nice book All I can say is that there are some godly things going on behind the scenes. It's a bit off topic.
It's very beautiful, and the author's writing style is also quite good. Although some changes have been made to the plot, it is innocuous. Still highly recommended.
