A suspense novelist reunites with his first love, who disappeared without a word seven years ago, only to find her embroiled in a murder case involving a wealthy family. To prove her innocence, he is forced to take up his pen as a blade and plunge into a web of lies, wealth, and deadly threats. Just when they think they’ve broken through the darkness, they discover that the real terror is only beginning. Beneath the frozen glaciers lies a prehistoric civilization from outer space, one that devours other civilizations for food. When a cosmic catastrophe engulfs Earth, they must choose: burn brightly and illuminate the darkness, or carry a faint light onward and pass hope along.
