After I Adopted a Daughter, the Bullied Prince Became an Emperor Thanks to Her Good Luck

The Great Zhou dynasty is in chaos, with the royal family tearing itself apart and powerful ministers running the court.

Xiao Jingheng, a lame and idle prince born to a concubine of the late emperor, is mocked by everyone and barely scrapes by on the outskirts of the capital.

When the crown prince abandons a baby girl in the wilderness, Xiao Jingheng carries her a hundred li through the snow to save her and adopts her.

The little girl is born with a wondrous sign and unexpectedly gains a golden finger, bringing good fortune wherever she goes.

She can bless a household, win people’s hearts, change fate, make water spring from a dry well, and bring plum blossoms into bloom at night.

Father and daughter rely on each other. A goofy, adorable child foils conspiracies, while the cold-faced prince deftly navigates court intrigue.

From being bullied by everyone to being summoned by the emperor again and again, he even turns a secondary consort’s poison plot against her.

The crown prince accuses the child of being a “demon girl who bewitched the ruler,” only to see a lucky star appear beside the Purple Star.

The first time she calls him “Daddy,” she even cures his lame leg.

From then on, they turn the tables against all odds, winning one battle after another in the household, the palace, and the court, with every step bringing them closer to glory.

In the end, the throne is restored to its rightful place, the disgraced prince becomes emperor, and the whole realm rallies behind him.

And all of it comes to pass through good fortune and sincere love.
