Wei Yueji lives by the motto behind her name: "A woman dresses to please herself, and I live for myself."
She manages the renowned Jianghu establishment, Yue Zhao Pavilion. Gentle and serene, she excels at music and dance. Her sword, Yunsheng, leaves its sheath only for the cause she believes in and a generous fee.
· Unique martial art: Flowing Light Legacy. Its moves flow like moonlight, breathtakingly beautiful, yet hiding deadly danger within that beauty.
She has three rules for taking jobs: never kill the loyal and righteous, never harm women or children, and never betray one's country.
Her only rule for getting things done: the pay must be good, and I have to feel like it.
On a dark and stormy night, Wei Yueji accepts an exorbitant bounty to intercept the pursuers of Prince Funing, only to discover that things are not so simple...
The forces at play are tangled and complex, and the Yunsheng Sword in her hand may be the key to breaking the deadlock.
