Mr. Ye's Long-Laid Plans

The first time Ye Jingzhi saw Lin Xiaoxiao, his younger sister had her pinned to the floor, tickling her.

The ten-year-old girl was laughing so hard her eyes watered, but she still refused to give in. “Ye Qingqing, that’s cheating!”

The sixteen-year-old boy stood at the turn in the stairs and, for some reason, remembered that wild girl with the faint dimples.

Later, everyone said that the cold, taciturn eldest son of the Ye family looked far from innocent whenever he gazed at the Lin family’s daughter.

Only Lin Xiaoxiao cluelessly clung to her best friend and complained, “Does your brother hate me? Every time we meet, he gives me the cold shoulder and tries to boss me around.”

Then, at her engagement party, someone saw Ye Jingzhi cornering the bride-to-be in the lounge.

The man pinched her chin and chuckled. “I’ve spent all these years raising you. It’s time to close the net.”
