Reciting Tang Poems in the Immortal Realm

Jiang Chen, a humanities student, woke up to find himself transmigrated to another world called the Great Xia Immortal Dynasty. In this world, talent gathered in one's chest could be exhaled to kill; a poem that shook the world could stir the spiritual energy of heaven and earth and aid one's cultivation!

Yet despite his vast learning, he discovered he was a useless crown prince thrown into the death prison.

Facing the killing formation of the Imperial Tutor, a celestial master, Jiang Chen recited aloud: "Ten paces to kill a man, a thousand miles without a trace!"

The poem fell, his literary qi surged into the sky, and the Imperial Tutor spat blood and retreated in defeat.

At the martial contest before the palace, surrounded by powerful foes, he sang: "When autumn comes on the eighth day of the ninth month, after my flowers bloom, all other flowers will die!"

In an instant, every art withered, and he alone reigned supreme.

Stepping out of the prison, Jiang Chen wielded poems as swords and verses as commands. The cool and noble eldest princess of the Immortal Dynasty fell for him, the alluring and cunning Holy Maiden of the Demon Sect allied with him, and his gentle, jade-like female classmate accompanied him, adding fragrance to his sleeves...

See how a mere scholar uses his brush to write the annals of history and cuts a path through immortal cultivation with poetry and wine amid the currents of immortal arts and political intrigue!
