Loneliness, survival, existential crisis, the evolution of human nature under extreme conditions, the boundary between memory and reality? Chen Yang: 28 years old, an ordinary city IT operations engineer. He is introverted and somewhat socially anxious, but thinks logically and is good with his hands. Before the disaster, he was feeling lost because of work pressure and distant relationships. His phone holds photos with his family, his ex-girlfriend, and a few friends, the last emotional ties he has to the “world of the past.”
