"Notes of Night Language" tells the story of Lin Wan, a freelance writer, who accidentally got involved in a series of bizarre and supernatural events in a corner of the city.

As the investigation deepens, she not only faces the entanglement of evil spirits, but also gets a glimpse of the greed and obsession deep in the human heart - from the soul in the red dress trapped in resentment to the missing person twisted by hatred. Behind every supernatural phenomenon, there is a sad past buried by time.
The gloom of the old alley has not yet cleared, and the sound of the piano is heard again in the newly moved apartment in the middle of the night. The ghost of a little girl in a white dress plays "Little Star" repeatedly in a vacant room. The blood stains on the keys and the rolling red marbles involve the mystery of the accidental fall two years ago and the unhealed pain of her family. And behind all of this, there seems to be a mysterious number secretly guiding Lin Wan, pushing Lin Wan to the old library in the west of the city and other corners that hide secrets - there are souls who are nostalgic for their hometown and are obsessed with old books that have not been returned, and there are figures squatting and crying in the corner looking for the fairy tale book left by their mother. Every "night whisper" tells the story of unfinished concerns.
From the initial fear of escaping, Lin Wan gradually learned to listen and explore. Holding a red cloth amulet, she walked on the edge of reality and the supernatural, recording these forgotten stories in words. There is no pure horror rendering in the book, but more of using the supernatural shell to dissect the complexity of human nature and the weight of emotions, making readers frightened and moved by the unresolved obsessions and belated reconciliation.
