I, Gao Yuliang, Abandoned Literature for Martial Arts; Mengsheng Is My Comrade-in-Arms

A special forces soldier transmigrates into Gao Yuliang just after he graduates from Handong University.

Remembering the tragic ending of his previous life, Gao Yuliang decisively abandons literature for military service and enlists in a fit of anger.

His comrades are none other than Zhao Mengsheng, Jin Kailai, and Liang Sanxi!

Knowing that war will break out in six months, Gao Yuliang begins putting the Ninth Company through intensive training.

Zhao Mengsheng wants to coast on his connections? As long as he is in the Ninth Company, Gao Yuliang will train him to the bone.

Jin Kailai is thirsty and wants sugarcane? Every soldier will carry a twenty-kilogram canteen into battle!

Little Beijing’s rocket launcher has a dud? Gao Yuliang hand-builds an 84-pattern rocket launcher and wreaks havoc on the battlefield.

When the war ends, Gao Yuliang saves Zhao Mengsheng and Little Beijing. A wealthy woman takes a liking to him, and he is transferred back to Beijing, where he marries Zhou Weiguo’s daughter. From then on, his career soars.

Thirty years later, Gao Yuliang has risen through the ranks, while his son Gao Xiaowei and student Qi Tongwei are in government in Handong.

But just then, a storm sweeps through Handong. Sha Ruijin and Hou Liangping arrive from outside the province, with Gao Xiaowei and Qi Tongwei in their sights.
