(A female author enters the traditional male-oriented fantasy genre)
[Strong female lead + ruthless and decisive + trope subversion + empress trapped within her + attaining sainthood through the body]
My name is Yun Zhiyi, and I was born a good-for-nothing.
Everyone says my dantian is blocked and that I’m destined to be unable to cultivate.
But they don’t know my dantian isn’t empty. It’s… full!
Imprisoned inside is a primordial female emperor who once slaughtered gods and demons and reigned supreme through the ages!
I am her final prison.
My body is the divine jail that holds her down.
She sees me as an insect and never stops trying to seize my body and return to the world.
“Insect, give up. You exist to become the offering that heralds this empress’s return!”
I see her as a fiend, but then I discover… suppressing her makes me stronger!
Every time I resist her demonic thoughts, my will grows more unyielding!
Every time I refine a fragment of her soul, my power surges!
Cultivation techniques? I don’t need them. The empress’s scattered memories are the greatest divine arts!
Treasures? I don’t need them. My body is the greatest treasure!
Others cultivate with spiritual energy. I cultivate… with the empress!
At last, one day, I shatter the immortal gate with a single punch.
The immortals cry out in shock: “Who is this woman? How can her body be so terrifying?”
Inside me, the once-mighty empress lets out a despairing wail:
“Madwoman! You’re a madwoman! Stop! The prison is getting stronger than me!!”
I smile faintly.
“Quiet, my dear little experience farm.”
“Today, I’ll use you as fuel and make my body the furnace to prove the Dao… and transcend!”
