Yun Che, a soul from another world, awakens what appears to be an ordinary yet mysterious Martial Soul in Douluo Dalu: the Green Sawgrass. This little green plant with serrated edges can not only spur the growth of all things, but also harbors secrets even he has yet to discover.
When he first arrives in Blackstone City, he saves an orphan girl named Ling'er, drawing the attention of the mysterious, violet-eyed girl Zi Ling. He enters the Blackstone Mountains in search of a Soul Ring, only to stir up hidden currents deep within the range. With an Innate Soul Power of level seven, he relies on the unique abilities of his Green Sawgrass to navigate a world full of danger, one careful step at a time.
Will he remain unknown, or rise against fate? As the Green Sawgrass's sharp edge cuts across the sky and its hidden secrets gradually come to light, will Yun Che's arrival rewrite the fate of this continent?
This is a tale of an ordinary Martial Soul's rise against the odds, and a passionate ode to growth, bonds, and adventure.
