Brocade-Clad Guard: The Path of the Martial God

Lin An wakes up to find himself a low-ranking Jinyiwei officer, gravely poisoned and about to be dumped in a mass grave. At court, undercurrents churn, and danger lurks within the Eastern Depot, among the civil officials, and inside the Jinyiwei. In the martial world, powerful clans rise and demonic sects run rampant amid bloodshed and chaos. Fortunately, a “Martial God Stele” awakens in his mind, allowing him to exchange for martial arts manuals and secret techniques. From then on, he wields the Embroidered Spring Blade and dons the Flying Fish Robe, proving his way through slaughter and wielding power as his weapon. From a low-ranking officer in the Northern Branch of the Jinyiwei to a commander who holds the court in his grasp, from a renowned martial hero to a grandmaster who commands the land, this is a path to becoming a Jinyiwei Martial God, paved with mountains of corpses and seas of blood, and belonging to him alone.
