In 7024, the fates of two parallel universes are intertwined due to a forbidden experiment. The α universe devotes all the efforts of civilization to calculate the ultimate pi ratio π, trying to break through the three-dimensional shackles; the β universe cuts history into traceable "memory slices" through brain-computer interfaces and high-frequency cameras. When two scientists meet in a dream state of quantum superposition, they exchange techniques in an attempt to prevent the impending dimension collapse.
