Don't Panic, the Expert Is Aiming for Your Heart

Jiang Tingwu has three secrets. First, she was once hailed as the KPL’s genius support player, “Zero Mist,” but an unjust accusation left her disillusioned, and she vanished from the scene. Second, she’s now a staff member in the student council secretariat at A University. She seems cool and sharp-tongued, and all she wants is to be an ordinary top student. Third, she’s discovered that Fu Chenyuan, the student council president who clashes with her at every turn, is actually the KPL’s hottest mid-laner, the top player known as “Ink God.”

Fu Chenyuan has three secrets of his own. First, he noticed this ice-cold underclassman the moment he laid eyes on her. Second, he strongly suspects that this mechanically gifted girl with incredible game sense is his former idol, “Zero Mist.” Third, he’s determined not only to uncover her secret identity, but also to lure her onto his team and into his heart.

And so, the KPL stage sees an astonishing comeback. The vanished prodigy returns under the new ID “Listening to Rain,” thanks to the schemes of her former rival and current boyfriend. From the university league to the KPL pro circuit, from facing doubts across the internet to silencing them with her skill, Jiang Tingwu and Fu Chenyuan become the “Ink and Rain” duo, a nightmare for every opponent.

They fight side by side and lift the championship trophy beneath a golden rain of confetti. They trade witty barbs and shower fans with affection on hilarious variety shows. They support each other through life’s lowest moments, becoming each other’s light. When a hand injury forces Fu Chenyuan to change roles, Jiang Tingwu becomes his strongest support. Together, they make a flawless transformation from players to coaches and, finally, mentors who guide the industry.
