A few warnings first:
[BG romance] [Not good, really trashy] [Please don’t read, seriously qaq]
1. Fake uncle and sister-in-law relationship.
2. There’s a short same-sex romance subplot. Please steer clear in advance if that bothers you.
It’s a story about two people saving each other, or perhaps one person being saved by the other.
People say love comes before hate, but Lin Jiapei hated the person he was destined to love before he ever fell for her.
His hatred wasn’t entirely unfounded, but it was a little unreasonable.
He had nothing left, but still wanted to live, so he searched desperately for a reason. He found Song Pei, the woman his older brother had left behind with regrets.
He approached her under the pretext of making her feel guilty for the rest of her life, getting close to her and learning about her. At first, he thought, “What gives my brother the right to love her?”
Then came, “So she really is worth loving.”
Then, “Why is she the one my brother loves?”
Until finally, “Please, look at me too.”
For Song Pei, the sudden appearance of Lin Jiapei did more than bring back memories of the lover she’d lost in her youth. It also stirred up her hopeless, stagnant life, making ripples where there had been none.
Out of guilt toward Lin Jiayu and a faded affection, she let this young man disrupt her life. But at some point, the atmosphere between them began to stray further and further from what she’d expected.
Their faces and names were both bound by an inescapable fate, so why did they keep trying to hide from each other?
Hate took root before love, but love grew wildly in the soil of a hatred that had no real foundation.
