There's a Woman in Mr. Meng's Collection Room

Shangguan Zhi’s love was a thorny nest, a gentle poison.

An aesthetic perfectionist and top designer, she saw Meng Yancheng for the first time and immediately wanted to turn him into her own perfect, one-of-a-kind collectible. She invaded his life and rewrote his rules, planting an addiction and a poison called “Shangguan Zhi” in his cool, Buddha-like world.

Everyone said she was crazy, a curse clinging to Meng Yancheng. Yet when she cleared obstacles for him in the business world and was gravely injured, he took her hand of his own accord for the first time. His voice hoarse, he said, “Playing with fire will get you burned, Shangguan Zhi.”

She welcomed it wholeheartedly.

When Meng Yancheng discovered the “collection room” where she had recreated everything about him, Shangguan Zhi’s madness reached its peak. She set him one final test, staking everything to prove she was his one and only exception.

“Meng Yancheng, love me, or… destroy me.”

She thought this was the finale she had so carefully orchestrated, never realizing she had long since fallen into his trap.

The moment she chose to let go, Meng Yancheng used the rose shackles she had designed herself to lock her ankles. The god who had once seemed untouchable now had a fire in his eyes more blazing than hers. He leaned down and pressed a declaration to her lips:

“The winner makes the rules.”

“Now, we’ve both been judge and prisoner. Welcome to my cage, my accomplice.”

In this war fought in the name of love, there are no survivors, only co-conspirators sinking together.
