In the early days of reform and opening up in the last century, a batch of bronze cultural relics from Yunnan appeared in Panjiayuan, Tianyi Zhai and Cuiwei Department Store in Beijing, mainly with sun pattern, soaring heron pattern, elephant and sacrificial patterns. These treasures caught the attention of the Cultural Protection Bureau, and a bronze bell opened a treasure hunt about the ancient Ailao Kingdom.
