My name is Li Nu, and I was once a cold and knowledgeable civet cat in the Forbidden City in Beijing. While other cats were fighting to the death for territory and small fish, my daily life was to take classes at the Museum of Ming History and watch the masters repair cultural relics in the Renovation Department. Until a bizarre lightning strike, I was thrown into the chaos of the early Ming Dynasty.
From then on, I, Li Nu, as a cat, became the "first cat to witness the rise and fall of the Ming Dynasty in the past three hundred years."
From Zhu Yuanzhang's entrepreneurial team to Zhu Di's appeasement army, from the prosperous age of Renxuan to Jiajing's cultivation of immortality, from Wanli's neglect of government to Chongzhen's hanging... I have lied on the dragon chair, slept in the alchemy room, caught mice, and "unintentionally" turned the gears of history.
I use cat's eyes to see through the emperor's mind, and use cat's claws to uncover the fog of history:
· Will the historian dare to record the true words Zhu Yuanzhang cried to me in his later years?
· On the night when Zhu Di was unable to succeed, besides celebrating his victory, what did he secretly hold me in his arms?
· Is what was burned in the Jiajing alchemy furnace really a fairy medicine? No, that's my favorite dried fish flavor!
· Is it really just because of laziness that Wanli did not go to court for decades? I saw it with my own eyes...
This is a history book of the "Cat History of the Western Yuan Dynasty" written by me, His Majesty Li Nu.

It's okay. It's interesting to see the Ming Dynasty from a cat's perspective.
