The rain in Nancheng always smells of blood. Forensic doctor Su Yan pulled out the charred corpse on the autopsy table, the same red umbrella as his mother's old case; in the murder cases pursued by the criminal investigation detachment leader Jiang Chiyu, the clues always pointed to the suspicions from twenty years ago.
Strange cremated corpses, nursery rhyme mutilated corpses... Cases are nested layer by layer, and the truth is hidden behind the mirror. Su Yan's scalpel opened up the corpse, and also opened up his dust-laden life experience; Jiang Chiyu aimed his gun at the murderer, but he was shocked to realize that the muzzle of the gun was pointing at the shadow of the past.
When the red umbrella opens again, it reveals not only the truth of the crime, but also their intertwined fates. The two Shu teamed up to tear open the cracks in the bloody mystery, only to find that the deepest darkness was always staring at themselves in the mirror.
