Jiang Xu is a lonely spirit adrift beyond the current of time. He cannot remember who he was yesterday, leaves no trace in today's world, and cannot see a way home tomorrow.
After an accidental plunge of consciousness, he enters a vast sea of books suspended in chaos. This is the Time-Space Library.
The library has no physical walls. Billions of books glowing faintly float like stars, and as their pages turn, they release the atmosphere of different worlds. Some covers blaze with dragons and magic, some reflect the neon lights of cyberpunk cities, and others are steeped in the misty rain of ancient martial-arts realms. Some books even hold visions of worlds on the brink of collapse.
Every book is a real, functioning world among the Myriad Worlds, from low-martial mortal realms to higher-dimensional domains of gods and demons, from sci-fi interstellar worlds to fantasy cultivation realms. Infinite possibilities are on display here.
Here, Jiang Xu meets a System who calls herself "Xiaoyun." She is not a cold program, but more like a guide to the library. She can analyze the rules of every book's world and sense pages that are "rotting," meaning worlds on the brink of destruction.
To discover the meaning of his existence and prevent countless worlds from perishing, Jiang Xu makes a pact with Xiaoyun. As a "candidate librarian," carrying one "Book of Worlds" after another, he begins a journey through the Myriad Worlds...
I would definitely give myself five stars O(≧▽≦)O
