Death Note: Divine Twins

A Death Note anime fan fiction.

What happens when the brilliant Misa Amane falls in love with Light Yagami, while L possesses the supernatural power of “Geass, Absolute Obedience”? Who has the right to write the name of the god of the new world?

The Death Note’s “write a name, and they die” meets Geass’s “give a command, and it becomes reality.” The world becomes a story set to hard mode.

L is not only hunting for Kira’s true identity, but also dealing from the shadows with terrifying threats that even the government is powerless to stop.

This is the ultimate showdown between light and darkness: on one side, a perfect couple who proclaim themselves gods of the new world; on the other, a genius detective teetering on the edge of madness. When the Death Note’s rules collide head-on with Geass’s absolute commands, and time and space begin to intertwine with people from the future getting involved, this contest has long since transcended life and death to become an even crueler war.

On this chessboard with the world at stake, every move is a battle of wits, and every choice sets off a chain reaction. Who is really writing whose fate? When a name itself becomes a weapon and love becomes the deadliest variable, how will this ultimate clash between geniuses reshape the future of the world?

In the end, Light Yagami and Misa Amane successfully create a dark utopia ruled by the Death Note.

Having established their dark utopia under the Death Note’s rule, they decide to train the next generation of Death Note users, or pass this “divine authority” down to their descendants...

How will the “Empire’s child of the future,” the next Kira, Light Yagami, uphold the rule of this dark utopia? Beneath its shadow, is there still hope for humanity’s flame of free consciousness to turn back the darkness?

Dedicated to you, whose fate is yet to be written
