Programmer Lin Chen is struck by lightning while working overtime and unexpectedly transmigrates to a parallel world with a radically different technological system. There are no traditional silicon-based computers here. Instead, people use “Spirit Hub” computers powered by biological neurons, programming through direct brain-computer interaction via neural rings. Stranded in an unfamiliar place with nothing to his name, Lin Chen draws on his programming experience from his old world and seizes the chance to try out a biological computer, then applies for IT-related jobs. Despite challenges such as having no identity records, he unexpectedly receives an interview invitation from Deep Blue Neural Technologies. His strong logical thinking and ability to learn help him pass the assessment and launch his career, but new workplace challenges and crises await.
