The Flower God's Awakening: My Guardians

Neon swallowed the light of the earth’s veins, while an ancient oath rolled out of the dust. As the shadow of “Murk” gnaws at China’s dragon veins, and greed, envy, and cowardice run rampant in office towers and street markets, twelve pairs of hands bearing the bloodline of ancient Flower Gods are each shining in the human world. They were once the most vibrant individuals in the city, but the moment their fated guardians handed them long-sealed tokens, destiny came crashing down on them. What they caught in bewilderment was not merely an inheritance, but a battle with the fate of humanity at stake. When the ancient arts of geomancy, medicine, fate reading, physiognomy, and divination collide with modern nanotechnology, skyscrapers’ glass facades become new wards, and subway tunnels become fresh battlegrounds for slaying demons. They fight to drive back Murk’s corruption, but also to break through the defenses around their own hearts: to find balance between KPIs and their duty to protect; to choose between a lover’s tears and the safety of all; to acknowledge the cowardice of the past before daring to raise the Flower God’s blade. Only when the final light blooms in the New Year’s Eve fireworks do the twelve flower spirits finally weave a web of light across the map of China. Only then do they understand: inheriting divine bloodlines is never about borrowing power from the ancient past. It is about helping every ordinary person dare to become a light that shines through the darkness and illuminates the world.
