In 2147 AD, thirty years after the end of the "Great Annihilation" war, the earth was divided into three major forces - the "Silver Dome Federation" that controlled the "star nuclear energy" under the Arctic ice, the "Iron City-State" entrenched in the ruins of the Asian continent, and the "Lightpicker" alliance that was independent of the two major forces and made a living by repairing pre-war technology.
Ling Che, a young man at the bottom of the Silver Dome Federation, has been bound by the "memory shielding" technology since he was a child. He can only make a living by dismantling old-era machines in the scrapyard. In an accident, he touched a piece of metal embedded with blue crystals, and fragments of broken memories suddenly flooded into his mind - images of burning starships, a strange woman putting crystals into his hands, and a repeated echo: "Keep the stardust, don't let them find the legacy."
With the awakening of the crystal, Ling Che discovered that he could "resonate" with the machinery of the old era and even control the energy core of the Silver Dome Federation. But this power also made him the target of public criticism: the "Purifier" troops of the Silver Dome Federation pursued him, claiming that he was a "contaminated genetic anomaly"; the spies of the Iron City State tried to win over him and wanted to use his power to seize the star core energy; and the mysterious leader of the Light Pickers Alliance seemed to have known his identity for a long time.
When the fog of memory gradually dissipated, Ling Che finally understood that the blue crystal was the last legacy of the "Stardust Civilization", and that he himself was the hybrid descendant of Stardust people and humans - the "Legacy". Not only does he have to uncover the truth about his parents' sacrifice, but he also needs to work in the cracks of the three major forces to prevent the abuse of star core energy from triggering the second "Great Annihilation" and awaken the world.
