Why Did I Get Transported into Bungo Stray Dogs?!

[Bungo Stray Dogs + Beautiful but Strong + World-Weary Yet Soft-Hearted + Mostly Original Plot]

Kyouki Mio is determined to die, but after his death, he is forced to take a new job and bound to the “HE Rescue System.” His mission: give designated high-risk individuals a Happy Ending. His reward: the eternal sleep he has long yearned for.

However, his client list is Yokohama nightmare-level difficult:

• Osamu Dazai: His ideal is a clean, refreshing suicide. Giving him an HE is like stealing work from the Grim Reaper.

• Sakunosuke Oda: Blessed with the death-flag aura, simply surviving to the end would be a miracle.

• Chuuya Nakahara: A vessel for Arahabaki, confused about his own identity, and suffering ongoing psychological damage from his partner. The prerequisite for his HE is dealing with Osamu Dazai...

• Ryunosuke Akutagawa: He thinks an HE means stabbing every enemy to death.

• Atsushi Nakajima: He believes he doesn't deserve happiness.

Faced with this bunch of HE-incompatible people, seasoned sufferer Kyouki Mio just wants to lie flat. His mission is basically to manufacture artificial sweetener in a sea of BEs.

Kyouki Mio sighs helplessly.

“I just want to lie down in peace. Why do I have to worry about the lives of these problem children? (T ^ T)”

Reader's Guide!

1. The protagonist is the receiving partner. The pairing is undecided (or maybe everyone has a one-sided crush on Mio? Depends on Mio's mood and the author's scruples). The romance is a slow burn, with things unfolding naturally (or through a series of misunderstandings).

2. The characters will stay as true to their original personalities as possible, but there may inevitably be some OOC moments in service of the plot. Please forgive any missteps in advance!

3. The goal is an HE! The journey is... um, possibly a comedy, a tragedy, or a farce. In short, anything could happen (^∇^)
