In the fiercely competitive architectural design industry, 30-year-old Lin Wei resigned from a top design institute in a first-tier city and joined the fledgling "Architecture Design" in his hometown of Nandu as the new design director. With her advanced design concepts and obsession with local culture, she tried to find a balance between business interests and humanistic feelings. However, she encountered the rejection of the company's elders, Party A's unreasonable demands, and a crisis of trust in the team. She even unexpectedly met again with her colleague Shen Yizhou, who had a conflict of design concepts. From "outsider" to "pioneer", Lin Wei dismantled problems in project crises one after another and used his strength to overcome doubts. He not only led a cohesive design team and promoted the implementation of benchmark projects such as the revitalization of Nandu Old Town, but also in the process of adhering to the original intention, he and Shen Yizhou went from opposition to side by side, jointly exploring the true value of architectural design. This is a story about workplace breakthrough, persistence of ideals and self-growth. It is also a song of struggle for contemporary designers.
