Tudou, a young man from the bottom of society, depends on his sick girlfriend, Xiaoya, and they struggle through life together. At the Liulian Sect's branch in Liuyun City, Tudou's profound understanding of the Five Elements and his unyielding resolve help him stand out while refining materials. He solves the problem of "Netherworld Iron" and quickly makes a name for himself, but also draws envy and finds himself caught in hidden currents. By understanding how the Five Elements generate and overcome one another, he comprehends the Dao through ordinary labor and improves through crises and challenges.
With his undying Dao heart, Tudou steadily rises in the cultivation world.
