I struggled in the darkness for a long time. It was my obsession with "love that transcends everything" that made me want to write down the story of Yang Xu and Lin Feng. They have experienced the pain of separation and the obstacles of the world, but in front of the Buddha in Qinglong Temple, they made a bet with the cup and seal to never leave each other for the rest of their lives. There is the forbearance of a single father, the persistence of a young lover, the innocent matchmaking of a child, and the reunion of two souls across three years and across prejudices.
I don't understand the rules of writing, I just want to preserve the tenderness and bravery hidden deep in my heart into words. It may not be perfect, but it is sincere enough - sincerely recording all my expectations for "love can defeat cowardice, and companionship can cure loneliness."
