[Why I Wrote This]
It's not about winning, it's about having fun. I'm taking a chance that teachers Zhang Xingchao, Li Jiacheng, Zhang Cheng, Zhai Xiaoming, and the others might see this and learn that a friend far away really loves their idea and creativity.
[Synopsis]
The story centers on the conflict between the “traditional Gomoku world” and the “Skill Gomoku world.” Twenty-year-old Zhang Cheng, a youth champion in traditional Gomoku, enters the “Skill Gomoku School” on the recommendation of Coach Wang Jinbao. There, he studies under “Skill Gomoku Master Five,” Zhang Jiwun, a strange man who says whatever comes to mind. He also becomes close friends with Li Ziqi, an ardent admirer of Zhang Jiwun and a passionate, chuunibyou boy who likes to puff out his chest and stick out his butt.
Zhang Cheng slowly comes to accept “Skill Gomoku” and begins learning to play with skills. As a complete beginner, he sets out to make his mark in the world of skill-based chess. Here, players use their imagination and creativity to develop unique skills to help them play. The masters are many, and everyone has some bizarre and fantastical ability. Zhang Cheng makes a strong first impression and earns the title “Skill Breaker.” Before long, his name starts to spread...
