Ever since Nezha was caught slacking off at the Nonhuman Apartment by the Bodhisattva Guanyin, he was forced to take on an absurd assignment: travel between worlds with the “Myriad Worlds Harmony Communication Terminal” (actually an old jade purification vase of Guanyin’s, modified) and “spread goodwill.” Who knew the busted terminal’s navigation was pure guesswork? On the first day, it dumped him into a world besieged by zombies, with half a box of unfinished spicy strips in his hand. Next, he fell into a sword graveyard in a cultivation world, where a group of sword cultivators surrounded him, shouting, “Where did this brat come from? How dare you steal our swords?” In a fit of anger, he turned his Red Armillary Sash into a jump rope. The most ridiculous thing was when he stumbled into a magic academy. A professor pointed at his Wind Fire Wheels and asked, “Are these some kind of new flying broomstick?” So Nezha immediately put on a show, roasting sausages over his wheels…
Along the way, he picked up a robot who kept trying to call him Dad, talked back to a fairy who claimed to be the most beautiful woman in the Three Realms, and nearly turned one world’s timeline into a tangled ball of yarn. Guanyin’s remote projection nagged him every day to “mind your image,” but all Nezha wanted to know was: when would he finally get to slack off successfully, go home, and eat Ao Bing’s sweet-and-sour fish?
