I Severed Ties with the Four Beauties of the Sect, Then Refined the Demon Sword

I'm the most lowly alchemy apprentice in the Qingyun Sect, the “dregs filter” they use and throw away.

But they don't know that I'm also the only forbidden being in this world who can feed on death energy.

Their script:

At the ceremony, they label me “a stumbling block on the path to growth.”

They demean my three years of hard work as “vile parasitism.”

They think that if they kick me out, they can ascend to immortality and enjoy boundless prospects.

The entire sect: (mocking) “A useless third-level Qi Refining cultivator. You should've left ages ago!”

My script:

I turn around and enter the forbidden ground, the Ten Thousand Sword Mound, feeding on death energy and using the countless sword auras as fuel.

The Myriad Things Cauldron spins into a frenzy. My cultivation soars by the day. Bottlenecks? They don't exist.

Me: (feeling my power surge) “So you were the real ‘stumbling blocks’ all along.”

The ending:

Not long after, Mu Wanqing's pill furnace explodes, and cracks spread across her S-rank talent, the Glazed Pill Heart.

Bai Zhi is invaded by inner demons, and her A-rank Hundred Herbs Affinity turns into a fear of everything that grows.

They go mad and kneel outside the forbidden ground, begging me to come back.

As for me, I'm holding the sword spirit of my newly acquired demon sword and watching my cultivation stats soar.

(raising an eyebrow) “Sorry, my cauldron has already upgraded.”

“Now it only refines demons. It doesn't save people.”
