Lin Yue awakens in Holy Soul Village after arriving from another world. Her lotus Martial Soul, with Innate Full Soul Power, astonishes everyone and catches the attention of a Spirit Hall deacon, as well as Master Yu Xiaogang. At Notting Academy, she forms her first bonds with Tang San and Xiao Wu, and makes a name for herself with her unique healing and support abilities. After joining Shrek Academy, she fights alongside the Seven Devils, hunts Soul Rings in the Star Dou Great Forest, and earns fame in Suotuo City's Soul Fighting Arena, gradually becoming part of an inseparable team.
At the All-Continent Soul Master Tournament, her lotus Martial Soul repeatedly averts disaster. From purifying evil to protecting her companions, she can even soothe bloodlust, becoming the heart of the team and drawing the attention of Spirit Hall Pope Bibi Dong. After five years apart, they reunite with their powers greatly improved and journey together to Sea God Island to undergo its trials. Thanks to her affinity with all things, Lin Yue overcomes challenge after challenge, earns the title of Lotus Heart Douluo, and unlocks heaven-defying Soul Skills such as Reincarnation and Creation.
When the decisive battle at Jialing Pass arrives, she uses the power of the lotus to fight Spirit Hall, reverse injuries, and break demonic influence. She helps Tang San and the others put an end to the Rakshasa God Bibi Dong's ambitions, bringing new life to the continent. After the war, she gently declines the many affections directed her way and travels the world, healing its wounds. She establishes Lotus Heart Hall to pass on kindness, and ultimately joins the Shrek Seven Devils in protecting this land, made warmer by her presence, as the fragrance of lotus blossoms spreads throughout the world.
