Nanchu Yi: A Guilty Minister’s Daughter’s Guide to Political Intrigue

Lin Wei, a modern graduate with dual degrees in history and psychology, transmigrates as Su Jin, the daughter of a disgraced official in the fictional Southern Chu dynasty. Su Jin's father was framed for treason after impeaching a powerful minister. While her family is being exiled, Su Jin is seized and forced into the palace as the lowest-ranking palace maid, a cleaner. To save her exiled family, Su Jin must find her footing in the inner palace and at court. At first, she is unwillingly drawn into the domestic power struggle between the Empress, who backs the Seventh Prince, and the Noble Consort, who supports the Third Prince. Later, she takes an active role in the Seventh Prince's bid for the throne, ultimately clearing her father's name and helping a wise ruler bring stability to Southern Chu.
