Transmigrate to 1935: I Became the Commander of an Anti-Japanese Iron Army

In 1935, North China is in peril. Chen Yuanshan, a modern military expert, finds his soul in the body of a Nationalist Army major general and division commander, placed in charge of a border defense force on the verge of collapse. Its equipment is outdated, morale is low, and the original commander’s blunders led to the annihilation of his entire force. Drawing on modern tactics, Chen reorganizes the army, reforms its structure, and intensifies training. After a disastrous opening battle in the Great Wall campaign, he learns from the defeat and proceeds methodically, improving everything from infantry-artillery coordination to reconnaissance and early warning. The Japanese advance, factions within the army scheme against one another, resources are scarce, and survival is difficult. With nothing but his own flesh and blood, he shoulders the burden of defending his country and forges an ironclad army amid the encircling powers. He has no golden finger, only an iron will and a deep sense of duty to his people.
