Protagonist Lin Wei: 28 years old, an urban white-collar worker, with an independent and tenacious personality. She left her hometown of Qingshui Town with her parents when she was a child, and has only vague memories of her old house. The curse of the old house: The old house was originally the residence of Su Mingyuan, a member of the late Qing Dynasty. In 1927, 13 members of the Su family died mysteriously overnight. They all died with their hands strangling their necks and their eyes wide open. Only a burning green lantern was left at the scene. Anyone who lives in the old house from now on will see the "green lantern figure" on the 7th day of their stay, and die mysteriously on the 14th day. The method of death is exactly the same as the Su family tragedy.
