As a cultural center in the south of the Yangtze River, Suzhou not only retains its exquisite and elegant classical charm, but also quietly carries the undercurrent of revolution and change. The "Hanbaozhai" in the city is a century-old ancient book restoration family, which has been restoring incomplete ancient books for generations, guarding the classic treasures of Chinese culture; while the "Shadow Theater Troupe" outside the city is a famous local shadow puppet theater troupe, which uses smart shadow puppets and melodious singing to perform various aspects of the world, and is an important carrier of folk culture.
3. Story introduction:
Shen Qingyuan encountered many technical difficulties when repairing the ancient book that contained secrets, and urgently needed to find some rare ancient book repair materials and tools. Through someone's introduction, she learned that Su Wandeng's shadow puppet troupe would use some special paper and paint when performing, and these materials might be used for the restoration of ancient books.
