My White-Collar Friends

[Lighthearted workplace story + rural revitalization + heartwarming friendship]

In the bustling office towers of the Bay Area, four white-collar professionals with very different personalities, Si Jue, Yalin, Zhang Haoxiao, and Wang Xichen, become friends after an unexpected workplace crisis brings them together. One is a technical whiz, another excels at communicating with people, one is bursting with creative ideas, and the last is a gifted writer.

At work, they tackle eccentric bosses and challenging projects together, using their wits and courage to make their mark in the office. In their personal lives, they share their troubles and cheer one another on, serving as each other’s strongest support.

By chance, they become involved in a rural revitalization project. There, they meet Wang Sanmiao, who works tirelessly to develop agriculture; Zhou Xingxing, who is dedicated to building a strong compliance framework; and Alex, an agricultural expert from Australia. People from different fields and backgrounds come together through their shared passion for rural development.

From small workplace battles in the city to throwing themselves into major rural projects, they bring ideas like smart agriculture, compliance management, and professional training to the countryside. The work brings difficulties and disagreements, but even more, it gives them the understanding that comes from fighting side by side and the joy of growing together.

Ten years pass. The women who were once office workers shine in their respective fields, while the countryside blossoms with new vitality. Their friendship, which has crossed the divide between city workplaces and rural communities and withstood a decade of trials, remains as warm as ever, bearing witness to their growth and the changing times. This is a story about friendship, growth, and passion, inviting you to discover the excitement of the workplace and the beauty of the countryside.
