Any High-Quality Books?

A System or fake System is fine, but it shouldn't just hand out freebies, and the plot shouldn't rely on forced explanations. The protagonist shouldn't be an idiot, side characters shouldn't be brainless, villains shouldn't suddenly get dumber, and the worldbuilding shouldn't contradict itself. I don't want a mindless, simplistic story. At the very least, the writing should be decent.
