"Mo Dao in the Prosperous Tang Dynasty: Breaking Tibet in the Western Regions": Su Lie (also known as Dingfang) was the captain of the Tang Army's Modao team, and accompanied Li Jing in his expedition against the Western Turks. The Turkic Khan led 100,000 cavalry to guard the city of Talas and used the desert wind and sand to set up an ambush. Su Lie led the Modao team to form a "wall formation" to withstand the cavalry attack in the wind and sand. He also cooperated with the crossbowmen to cut off the enemy's retreat and buy time for the main force of the Tang army to encircle.
